art+contraptions submitted a proposal to make an art installation for coachella 2014 inspired by natural ice caves. i was tasked with developing a panel design for the interior of the piece that would be repeated but still appear organic. i combined various parametric and manual techniques to create a panel that was CNC milled and vacuum-formed. the design was successful enough to be repurposed for various later sculptures.
